Missions
To the Ends of the Earth
The risen Christ commissioned his church to make disciples of all nations (Matt. 28:18–20). That charge is not the assignment of a special missions society somewhere overseas. It is the calling of every local church. At Pray’s Mill we take this calling seriously — supporting faithful workers, partnering with sound ministries, and laboring for the gospel both in our own county and to the ends of the earth.
From the Neighborhoods
Gospel witness in Douglasville and beyond.
Before our missionaries cross oceans, our members cross streets. The most ordinary missions work of any local church is the witness of its members — in their homes, their workplaces, their neighborhoods, and the schools their children attend. We pray for and resource our people to live as faithful gospel witnesses in the corners of Georgia God has placed them. PM Sports is one of the formal ways we extend hospitality and gospel proclamation into the neighborhood — bringing families onto the church campus through soccer and basketball.
To the Nations
Our partnerships.
We partner with organizations and missionaries whose theology and methods we trust:
- G3 Ministries — training pastors, equipping the church, and resourcing the next generation of expositors. (Several of our own pastors serve with or are connected to G3.)
- HeartCry Missionary Society — supporting indigenous gospel workers in countries closed or hostile to outside missionaries.
- Individual missionary families — whom we know personally, pray for by name, and support financially.
How You Can Help
Pray. Give. Go.
Pray — specifically, by name, for the workers and the fields we support. Pick up a missionary prayer card in the foyer. Give — through the church’s regular missions fund. A portion of every dollar received at Pray’s Mill goes to missions. Go — if the Lord is stirring your heart toward vocational missions, speak with one of our pastors. We would count it a joy to send our own.
