Come and meet
with the Living God.

An ordinary congregation gathered each Lord’s Day around the ordinary means of grace — the reading and preaching of the Word, the prayers of the saints, and the Table of the Lord.

A Warm Welcome

A confessional church
with a seat saved for you.

Pray’s Mill is a confessional Reformed Baptist congregation in Douglasville, Georgia. We hold to the Second London Baptist Confession of 1689 and gather each Lord’s Day to do simple, weighty things — to read God’s Word, sing God’s Word, pray God’s Word, hear God’s Word preached, and remember Christ at His Table. Whether you are new to the area, exploring the Christian faith, or looking for a church home — we would be glad to have you with us.

What to Expect

A simple, weighty hour.

Our worship is not a performance, and it does not unfold by accident. It is a conversation. God speaks first; we respond. The shape of our Lord’s Day service follows that pattern from the moment we sit down to the moment we are sent out.

  1. Call to Worship

A pastor reads from Scripture, summoning the gathered church into the presence of her King.

  2. Adoration & Confession

We sing hymns of praise. We confess our sins together. We hear God’s pardoning word in the gospel of Christ.

  3. The Reading & Preaching of the Word

Scripture is read at length and preached expositionally — verse by verse, through whole books of the Bible.

  4. The Lord’s Table

Every Lord’s Day, at the close of our evening service, we share the Lord’s Supper as the climax of our worship.

  5. Benediction

A pastor blesses the gathered church in God’s name and sends us back into the world.

Why It Looks This Way

Worship regulated by the Word.

We worship God only in the ways he has commanded in his Word — what the historic Reformed tradition calls the Regulative Principle. Our service is simple by design: every element we keep is one Scripture itself sets before the gathered church.

  • We sing songs of praise to our God and Savior. (Ephesians 5:19)

  • We seek His face through sincere and fervent prayer. (1 Timothy 2:1, 8)

  • We reverently listen as He speaks through the reading, teaching, and preaching of His Word. (2 Timothy 4:1–2)

  • We remember our Lord’s death through the Lord’s Supper. (Acts 2:42)
